8 Habits of the Happy Millionaire
by Bo Sanchez
I wanna be a billionaire so freakin’ bad. Why? Because…
I want to live a comfortable life.
I want to provide for my family.
I want to buy my own dream house and car.
I want to travel the world.
I want to start my own business.
I want to send street children to school.
I want to organize programs for abandoned elders.
I want to build my own charitable foundation.
I want to adopt two kids and care for them as if they were my own.
My greatest treasures are the people around me, that’s for sure. But let’s be realistic. I need money to be able to give and help more people. So I work hard. And save a lot.
And you know what, this book told me exactly the same. It gave me an assurance that I was doing the right thing. That it isn’t wrong to desire to be wealthy as long you don’t become greedy. And most of all, you do it all in service of Him.
The author, Bo Sanchez, presented 8 habits on how one can prevent living from paycheck to paycheck by using different wealth vehicles that will increase chances of securing our future. I know I’m almost halfway through of what he advised and I’m so proud of myself. It feels good to know that I’m on the right direction. I’ll write a separate post about my journey to financial freedom soon.
For now, I’ll leave you with this:
“Successful people are not born that way. They become successful by establishing the habit of doing things unsuccessful people don’t like to do.” — William Makepeace Thackeray
Let us dream big, focus on our goals, work hard towards it, and serve the Lord.
God’s blessings are flowing everyday. We’ll all be successful happy millionaires (even a billionaire), if we put our heart to it.
“If you are unable to make up your mind and are undecided in all you do, you must not think that you will receive anything from the Lord.”
– James 1:7-8
God gives us dreams a size too big so that we can grow in them.

Sow in time of famine.
Don’t wait for better times before you invest.
Don’t wait when you have excess money.
Invest now while your money is small.
Because your greatest ally is time.
